A Cambodian land rights activist and human rights defender, who is the leader and creator of Boeung Kak 13, an activist group that has organized peaceful demonstrations since 2008 against the Cambodian government leasing land to the Shukaku corporation, which has resulted in the forcible eviction of nearly 20,000 people from the Boeung Kak Lake area in Phnom Penh. Her arrest and detention sparked an international campaign demanding her release. She appeared as herself in A Cambodian Spring and Mommy's Land.
