A British actor born in Liverpool, England, on February 11, 1908, and died in London, England, on April 13, 1992. His most notable work includes The Avengers (1964-1969), Carry on Camping (1969), and Young Sherlock Holmes (1985). He began his career by appearing in television films. Among the most prominent series in which he participated are Hotel Imperial (1958-1960), and Emergency Ward 10 (1960). He made his film debut in Miranda (1948). He passed away in 1992 at the age of 84 years.
