An American actress, born on February 22, 1947, in Lobata, West Virginia, USA. She completed her undergraduate studies at Duke University and taught there. She performed in hundreds of festivals, schools, workshops, and music camps. Her artistic career began in 1976. She participated in many diverse works, including the movie Harlan County U.S.A. (1976), The Dollmaker (1984), Coal Miner's Daughter (1980), and Guncrazy (1992). She died on December 9, 2009, in Bradenton, Florida, United States.
