An American actress, dancer, and singer, born in Los Angeles, California, USA, to a Japanese-American mother and an African-American father. She got her start as a dancer when she was five years old, dancing at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. She landed her first acting role in Three Verses (2008) and appeared in the movie Terminator Salvation (2009). Her song "Express Yourself" was released as a single when she was nine.
