An Italian actress, born in Messina, Sicily, Italy. She has appeared in many Italian and international films and TV series since 1990 and has also worked as a producer, screenwriter, and model. She is known internationally for playing the role of the Bond girl in The World Is Not Enough (1999). Her other notable credits include The Postman (1994) and The Rite (2011).
