An American actor, born Richard Joseph Libertini in East Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. He studied at Emerson College in Boston. He is known for Popeye (1980), The In-Laws (1979), and Fletch (1985). On September 30, 1963, he married Melinda Dillon, with whom he had a son. He died on January 7, 2016, in Venice, Los Angeles, California, USA.
