An American actress, born on October 19, 1979, in Santa Clara County, California, USA. She graduated from Monta Vista High School in Cupertino, California, and UCLA, where she earned her degree in Sociology and Communication. During high school and college, Sun competed in several surfing events and was a team rider for Loaded Boards. She has received sponsorship recognition from major brands such as Roxy and Vans. After her surfing career, she became an actress, filmmaker, sportscaster, investigative journalist, and avid adventure traveler. Her credits include Street Kings (2008), A Perfect Getaway (2009), and Plastic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch (2013).
