A Turkish singer, poet, composer and producer, born in Saraykoy, Denizli. Her albums include "Gülümse", which was one of the best-selling Turkish albums in the history of Turkish music. Among her nicknames is Minik Serçe (Little Sparrow). In 1998, she won the title of State Artist at the suggestion of the Ministry of Culture in the 33rd government of Turkey, but she rejected this award. Her songs are featured in works such as Soul Kitchen, The Red Room, and Bride of Istanbul.
