American actor born in St. Paul, Minnesota, on June 13, 1896. Keating was married three times and had one child. He was a radio announcer for NBC and ABC in the 1940s. He's known for The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show (1950-1958), When Worlds Collide (1951) and Monkey Business (1952). He played the character of Roger Addison in the TV series Mister Ed until his sudden death in 1963 of leukemia, at age 67.
