An American actress, born on July 7, 1965 in Philadelphia, USA. She studied at the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts, after which she continued her studies at Howard University, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. During her senior year, she won the title of Miss Howard University and landed her first acting role. She's known for Lean on Me (1989), Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (2022) and Malcolm & Eddie (1996).
