An American writer and former lawyer, born in Massachusetts, USA. His Perry Mason detective fiction series, which spanned over 80 volumes, is his most well-known work. Later on, the book served as the inspiration for a television show. In addition, he wrote non-fiction books, articles, and short tales on his trips.
