A Chinese actor, writer, and producer, born into a Malaysian-Chinese family. He grew up between Singapore and the United States. He moved to Fuchun Primary School in Singapore. He later attended Pioneer Secondary School and Jurong Pioneer Junior College in Singapore. He attended Trinity College, the University of Melbourne in Australia, graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and a Bachelor of Law degree. He obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University in 2012. His credits include Crazy Rich Asians, Wish Dragon, and M3GAN.
