An American author, born on January 1, 1949, in Dumont, New Jersey, USA, where she was raised. After she graduated from New York University, she was a management consultant and one of the first female partners at Booz Allen Hamilton before leaving to pursue writing. She's best known for The First Wives Club (1996), Desejos de Mulher (2002), and First Wives Club (2019). She died of a heart attack on January 15, 2004, in New York, USA.
