He began his television activity in 1961 and his limited film activity in 1963, by appearing in James Bond films. He was married twice and had three children. Among his notable works are Star Wars: Episode V- The Empire Strikes Back (1980), A Passage to India (1984) and Armchair Thriller (1978). He died on February 27, 2024.
