An Indian film actress and director, born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is the daughter of actor Sohan Kapila. She completed her higher education at A F Petit Girls High School. She has mostly worked in the Hindi film industry and played supporting roles in the early stages of her career. She's known for Dera Aashqan Da (1979), Shaan (1980) and Laawaris (1981).
