She holds undergraduate degrees in Geology and Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado and a master's degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from the Colorado College of Mines. She moved to New York City in 2006. She is known for Starship Farragut (2007) and Orthogenesis (2005).
