An American actress, who comes from Memphis, Tennessee, where she started acting in children's theater productions as a child. She continued to pursue acting at the University of Memphis and graduated with a BFA in Theater Performance. She has been based in Los Angeles since 1989. In addition to her film career, she pursued stage acting and directing nationally, including theater roles in New York, both Broadway and Off-Broadway, national touring and regional theater. She also teaches at Santa Monica College and Mercersburg Academy. Her credits include The Long Walk Home (1990) and Great Balls of Fire! (1989).
