An Iranian film actress, born in Tehran. She began her film career in the mid-fifties. She made her debut in the movie The Crossroad of Events (1955), followed by Storm in Our Town (1958). In addition to acting, Vida co-founded the Cafe Kuchini, the goal of which was to create a space to showcase and attract young talents in art and music. She lived in Canada, then moved to the United States. She taught creative theater and the Persian language in the United States. Among her credits are The Stoning of Soraya M. (2008), Shah Bob (2015), and Before the Storm (1991). She died in 2018 in Los Angeles, United States.
