An American actress, she was born in Syracuse, New York, on September 5, 1897. Doris was married four times and had one child. She was a star in silent films and appeared in sound films as well. She's known for The Road to Singapore (1931), The Hawk's Nest (1928), Beau Bandit (1930) and Burning Daylight (1928). She died of a heart attack in 1979, at age 82.
