An American actress, born in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Northwestern University. She is also known for her stage work in Chicago for many years, winning the Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Actress in a Play in 1992 for her work in Lost in Yonkers. Her roles in Catsplay and She Always Said Pablo also garnered her multiple nominations for the award. Her credits include Continental Divide (1981), A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon (1988), and Open Admissions (1988).
