A British Actor born in Newcastle, on April 26, 1927. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960 for his television activities. Jack was married twice and had two children. He is an actor, writer and producer best known for his films in the Carry On series. His entry into the art world was as a producer, not an actor. His grandfather worked in silent films, and his father was one of the pioneers of theater and pantomime, and he followed his father's path. He left school during the war and helped his father in the theater and worked as a theater manager, carpenter and electrician. At the age of 15 his father handed him a script to produce, and when one of the actors was absent, he replaced him and enjoyed the work. Later he abandoned the production of comedy, and began performing in it. He became the most famous actor in films British films. His most important works are: Carry On Behind (1970), Carry On Columbus (1992), Carry On Laughing! (1975) and Carry On England (1976). He died of pneumonia at the age of 81.
