American actress, writer, and singer born on 29 March 1969 in Dayton, Ohio, US. She earned a master's degree in acting from the University of Minnesota. She began her acting career with a two-year stint at the Guthrie Theater Company in Minnesota before moving to New York in 1995. Her works include Auggie (2019), Yes, God, Yes (2019), Before/During/After (2020), and Margin Call (2011).
