An American writer and producer, who graduated from Harvard University and received a Master of Fine Arts from Columbia University's School of the Arts. She launched her career as a production assistant in the early 90s before becoming a film editor for the short Stick Up and the video documentaries Easy Rider: Shaking the Cage (1999) and A Song of Africa (2000). She eventually headed to writing and production. She received the 2009 Hart Vision Awards for her volunteer work in the California Charter School Movement. She is known for Supergirl (2019-2021), Cult (2013), and Close to Home (2006-2007).
