A Canadian screenwriter, television producer, and actress born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She attended the Claude Watson School for the Arts, where she majored in visual arts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Philosophy and Psychology from the University of Toronto, and has worked as a crisis counsellor. She made her television debut at the age of thirteen, and performed many leading and supporting roles in film, television, and theater. She's best known for being the executive producer of the drama series The Cleaning Lady. Among her credits are Letting Go (2012), Taken by Force (2010) and Sanctuary (2008).
