Canadian actress, born on December 19, 1986, in Ottawa, Canada. Her parents were teachers and she attended high school at Elmwood School in Ottawa, where she participated in theatrical performances. She attended Queen's University for one year before earning a degree in theatre performance from Concordia University. She then trained at the Canadian Film Centre Actors' Conservatory. She moved to Los Angeles at the age of 22 to pursue an acting career. She is known for Schitt's Creek (2015-2020), The Plateaus (2015), and Beauty and the Beast (2012).
