A Canadian actress and beauty pageant contestant, born in Ontario, Canada. She spent her childhood in Hamilton, Ontario, where she attended a French language school until she mastered it. In 1974, she represented Hamilton in the Miss Teen Canada Pageant, where she ranked second. A graduate of McMaster University in Hamilton, her first feature film was Claude Chabrol's Blood Relatives (1978), and she collaborated with Chabrol again on Violette (1978). Her other credits include White Tiger (1996), Framed for Murder (2007) and Heartland (2007).
