A British actress born in Kent, England, UK. She was trained at the Central School for Speech and Drama, but dropped out at 15 years old to pursue acting. A year later, she made her film debut. Her first starring role was on the film The Scarlet Blade (1963). Other works of hers include Die, Monster, Die! (1965), Dracula: Prince of Darkness (1966), The Caesars (1968), and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall (1968-1969). She was a founding member of John Fraser's London Shakespeare Group. She married actor Ian McShane in 1965, but they divorced in 1968. She died of cancer on 17 September 2017 in England, UK.
