An American actress, writer and director, born in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. She obtained a bachelor's degree in African-American studies and creative writing from Columbia University. She also received a Master of Fine Arts in acting from Harvard University. She is known for P-Valley (2020-2022) and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2005).
