She is an American actress, singer, and writer. She was born in 1965 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. After her singing career started in a classic rock band, she became interested in performing on stage in musical theatre and writing and performing sketch comedy. Since then, she started working on camera in various productions, including commercials, voice-overs, animation, film, and television. She is known for Grey's Anatomy (2012), NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service (2011), and Bones (2011).
