A British actress born Maureen Rippingale in Chelmsford, Essex, UK. She made her onscreen debut at 12 years old on the film The Silver Darlings (1947). She ran away from home at 16 and worked as a chorus girl at a club in London. She then travelled to Paris and worked as a nude model and came back to the UK and appeared in several films including Woman in a Dressing Gown (1957), Dangerous Youth (1957) and Doctor in Love (1960). She married Michael Dalling and had two children. She died of a birth control pill overdose on 28 February 1974, at only 38 years old, in London, UK.
