An American actress, born on August 16, 1936, in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. She was raised in suburban Rossville and graduated from Kenwood High School. Gillette was one of a group of mainly New York-based performers who performed frequently in Broadway and off-Broadway productions during the 1960s and 1970s while also making appearances as regulars on TV shows. As an actress, she is known for Moonstruck (1987) and for her self-appearances in What's My Line? (1970-1973) and To Tell the Truth (1965).
