She is an American actress, born in Miami, Florida. Her passion for acting began when she decided she needed to make acting a part of her life during a holiday performance in middle school. She obtained a Bachelors and Masters degree from Florida International University. Early in her career, Katia worked as a CPA, had a family, and worked on live theatrical productions all at the same time. She is known for her roles in Eli (2019), Get Hard (2015), and Tell It Like a Woman.
