A Czech actress, writer, and director. She was born on September 4, 1978, in Prague, Czechoslovakia. She moved to New York in 1997 to continue her studies in filmmaking. She worked in independent cinema until 2008, when she decided to move to Los Angeles to direct her first documentary, Butterflies (2009). She is known for The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018), Autumn of Route 66 (2013), and Chaos Walking (2021).
