A Mexican-born American actress, born on January 15, 1953, in Jalisco, Mexico. She came to the USA in the late 1970s, and prior to landing a position at Radio Express, where she worked for 20 years, she had initially wanted to become a teacher. She is known for Funny People (2009), Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (2012), and The Book of Life (2014). She passed away from stomach cancer on May 8, 2016 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
