An American actress of Syrian origin, born in San Fernando, California, USA. She began taking dance lessons at an early age in ballet and jazz. She also received a scholarship to a dance camp near Palm Springs at the age of fifteen and studied media at California State University, Northridge. She is known for being a singer and choreographer in Hollywood and a former judge on the American singing talent show American Idol.
