An American actor, born in Coweta, Oklahoma, USA, on October 30, 1919. Among his most important works are Cause for Alarm! (1951), Gun Belt (1953), Battleground (1949), and Song of the Thin Man (1947). Bruce Cowling was a film and television actor in the 1940s and 1950s. He made his film debut in Till the Clouds Roll By (1946) and ended his career with an episode in the TV series The Jim Backus Show (1961). He died in Los Angeles, California, USA, on August 22, 1986, at the age of 66.
