He is best known for The White Horseman (1921), The Last Straw (1920), and The Scrappin' Kid (1926). Bell was famous for his roles as a policeman, guard, driver, deputy, or farmer. He died in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, on February 4, 1950, due to a heart attack.
