An American actress, comedian, and TV writer, born on December 8, 1986, to Jewish parents. Jo was raised in Clayton, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. She graduated from Clayton High School and then Wesleyan University in Connecticut, earning a degree in theatre. As an actress, she has appeared in TV shows such as Search Party, The Jim Gaffigan Show, Broad City, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She is best known for Joe Pera Talks with You (2018-2021) and Save Yourselves! (2020).
