American actor born in Baltimore, Maryland, US on 22 April 1904. He played the role of the soldier Wilhelm on The Charge at Feather River (1953), on which his iconic cry was later used as a sound effects in several films and series in the 1950s and 1960s. His other notable works include The 3rd Voice (1960), A Shot in the Dark (1935), and Strange Wives (1934). He died on 15 April 1991 in Los Angeles, California, US.
