An American actress, born on January 13, 1944, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. She began her long career as an actress in film, television, and theater. She has toured theaters all over the world, from Ontario to Dublin, and from Washington to Broadway, and among the many theater productions she has participated in are "Pygmalion," "Anthony and Cleopatra," "Macbeth," and "London Assurance", earning for the latter a Theatre World Award as well as a nomination for a Tony Award in 1997. She is best known for Julie & Julia (2009), 21 (2008), and The Next Three Days (2010).
