A Lebanese writer and director, born in 1985 to a Korean-American mother and a Lebanese father. She grew up in post-war Beirut where she experienced different ways of looking at urban life and its relationship to the arts. As a teenager, Nina filmed her first two short films and decided to enroll in film school at ALBA (Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts). On graduation day, the Lebanese War broke out in the summer of 2006. Nina moved to New York, where she lived for 3 years, focusing on her writing. In 2009, she returned to Lebanon where she worked as a producer in television commercials for advertising agencies. Her web series entitled Mamnou3 was nominated for an award at the Geneva International Film Festival. She also directed the series Arabs in Space (2018).
