An American singer, actress, and director, born in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School and later from the University of Illinois, where she earned a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. She works as an assistant professor of English and technical writing and is also a blogger. Her works include the film The Nail: The Story of Joey Nardone (2009).
