An American singer, actress, and director, born in Chicago, Illinois, she graduated from Mother McAuley High School and later from the University of Illinois, where she earned a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. Levita works as an assistant professor of English and technical writing and is also a blogger. Her works include the film The Nail: The Story of Joey Nardone in 2009.
