An American actress, born in Florida. She started acting in her early teens while living in Harlem, New York. At the age of 16, she became a member of the Negro Ensemble Company. Tyler's career continued to flourish in the theater and is marked by a number of remarkable roles and productions. In 2011, her career transitioned from the theater to television and film. She is best known for Eastbound & Down (2012), Identity Thief (2013), and Halloween (2018).
