American actress, she was born in Los Angeles, California on April 16, 1924. June was married to producer and writer Donald C. McKean in 1945 and they had three children before they divorced. She began her career as a child actress by playing the role of Lucy Jones in the Jones Family film series from 1936 to 1940. She also appeared in other films, including Jeep-Herders (1945) and Mom and Dad (1945). She retired from acting in 1948 to raise her children. She died in 1966, at age 72.
