An American actress, she was born in Crossville, Tennessee, on March 2, 1913. Marjorie was married to Don Briggs, they had two children and she remained with him until her death. She attended the University of Kentucky and the University of Indiana. She began her career as a band singer, model, and stage performer. She's known for The Man Who Wouldn't Die (1942), Just Off Broadway (1942), Michael Shayne: Private Detective (1940) and The Great Alaskan Mystery (1944). She died of a stroke in 1994, at age 81.
