English director, producer, and actor, born in Wellington, Shropshire, England. He spent most of his youth in Basingstoke, where he attended the local Brighton Hill Community School. He also attended a theater school run by his father, Colin Flaherty. He studied at the prestigious Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London. His works include Poldark (2017-2018), Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007), and Tony Blair: Rock Star (2006).
