An American actor born in San Francisco, California. He made his debut on The Blazing Sun (1950). His notable works include Ace in the Hole (1951), The War of the Worlds (1953), The Court Jester (1955), and Perry Mason (1960-1963). His last film appearance was on Diary of a Madman (1963) and his last TV appearance was on Tarzan (1967). He died of a heart attack on February 21, 1969 in Los Angeles, California.
