He worked for the BBC and EMI Records during the 1950s, working with Peter Sellers and Spike Milligan. He has worked for more than 6 decades in music, film, television and live performance, becoming one of the icons of music production in Western popular culture. Among his credits are Live and Let Die, Yellow Submarine, and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. He died on March 8, 2016.
