She was an Indian actress, born on December 25, 1926, in Jhelum, Punjab, India. She studied at the Aligarh Muslim University. She is known for Saawariya (2007), Sohag Raat (1948), and Neel Kamal (1947). She died on December 9, 2008, in Mumbai, India.
