She is a British writer of Nigerian descent. She grew up in London and obtained an undergraduate degree in psychology from Royal Holloway, University of London. She also holds a master's degree in criminology and criminal psychology from the University of Oxford. She is known for Rocks (2019), Dance School, and Grime Kids.
